POSITION SUMMARY:           

In this role, you will work with marketing staff and business development specialists to support market sector activities, including tradeshows and events, giveaways, advertising and handouts. You will also provide overall design and production assistance in accordance with the Bartlett & West brand standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Tradeshows and Events
    • Maintain Bartlett & West’s tracking, budgeting and planning related to industry conferences, tradeshows and events.
    • Work with project managers to identify, organize and plan for staffing individual conferences and events.
    • Lead budgeting, ordering and managing the inventory of client gifts and event giveaways.
    • Assist subject matter experts and other marketing staff to identify topics, submit abstracts and develop presentations for conferences.
    • Work with marketing colleagues to develop supporting collateral, social media post, event invitations and other items as needed.
    • Handle contracting and logistics for tradeshow exhibits, including coordinating all exhibit and material shipping.
    • Work with project managers to develop and implement client social events as needed.
  • General Marketing and Design Support
    • Work with marketing leader to develop and support company advertising.
    • Design and produce presentations as needed.
    • Assist in the creation of marketing communications materials, including brochures, event invitations, direct mail, e-mail blasts, etc.
  • Assist with other marketing items such as proposals, internal communications and client projects as requested.

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe graphic design applications
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and spending
  • Excellent organizational skills, project management and attention to details and deadlines
  • Knowledge of marketing, communication and design principles
  • Exhibits initiative, creativity and adaptability

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Writing/Journalism or Marketing strongly preferred.

 

Experience:

2-5 years’ experience in communications, graphic design, writing/journalism or marketing. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and graphic design software required. 

 

Travel Expectations:

Must be able to travel in-state and out-of-state on occasion, which usually would consist of visiting other company locations, attending seminars or business meetings. Minimum travel is 10% of the time depending on projects.
